Upon your arrival at the Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca, Mohammed V International airport, While in Casablanca, you will visit the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, the third largest mosque in the world . After you will Drive to Rabat where you will visit the best sites of this city such as the Hassan Tower , Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Oudayas Kasbah overlooking the Atlantic . Then travel to Meknes , one of Morocco’s ancient imperial cities, where you will have a break for drinking some coffe and strolls in its busy square and Medina(Lahdim).ending with dinner at your hotel in Meknes.
Morning devoted to discover this magnificent Imperial city.sightseeing of Meknes includes Mosolum Moulay Ismail,Bab Mansour,Sahrij Souani.After lunch,you will continue to Volubilis ,the best example of an ancient Roman city in Morocco. After that drive through Moulay Idriss Zerhoun,The holiest Islamic town in the Kingdom of Morocco,where thousands of the Moroccan faithful come on pilgrimage every August to pray at the tomb of this descendant of the Prophet Mohammed. After, you will continue to Fes and ending your day with dinner at your hotel in Fes.
The whole day is devoted to tour this UNESCO World Heritage City.Sightseeing of Fes includes the medieval medina with its Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas,the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum,and the Karaouine mosque.Afternoon visit of Fez al Jdid – new Fes.In the evening check into the hotel or riad.
Departure to Midelt passing through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the berber village of Immouzer Kandar and Ifrane, a wonderful mountains village, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco” and then on to Midelt. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – where you may well sight Barbary apes. After sometime within the forest, your journey continues to Midelt along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas. In Midelt you will be accommodated in a luxurious hotel, Dinner Bed Breakfast.
After breakfast in your hotel you will travel to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. You will be travelling through the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas plateau, you’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia, Afterwards, you will travel along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani. Arrive at Merzouga ,where you will meet your camel guide to ride into the dunes to the bivouac(camp).Dinner and overnight will be under the nomad tent.
Your camel man will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well my be the best sunrise of your life. After you will peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga to have your breakfast . En route you will be dazzled by the everchanging hues of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes, which are a scene of constant change and fascination as sunlight transforms them from pink to gold to red. Freshen up in Merzouga, then explore the area. Visit the gnawa people,originally slaves brought from black africans. Not so far away, is the lake of Merzouga that is known for flocks of flamingos. You may also visit the nomad wire house where many berber handicrafts are priced lower than in the big cities. Visit the fossil quarries. In the evening you will be entertained by berber or gnaoua musicians. You will be accommodated overnight in hotel or riad.
After breakfast, we will depart to the holy city of Er rissani, a site where the Alouite dynasty are buried in the mousoleum of Moulay Ali Sherif, visit the ruins of Ksar Abbar, a kasbah that dates from 17 th century. Rissani is surrounded by 360 ksars ( fortified villages with many towers ) and has a big souk (an open market), held three times a week. After we will have a tour of Rissani’s famed palmerie and a glimpse of life as it is lived on the edge of the desert . Visit the ksar Oulad Abdelhalim,which was built around 1900 for Sultan Moulay Hassan. Then continuing the trip throught the open black desert back to Merzouga. Overnight accommodation will be in Merzouga.
After breakfast , you’ll leave for Rissani , Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight accommodation will be in a fancy hotel overlooking the Dades valley.
After breakfast, depart to Ourazazate passing through the Dades valley, the line of kasbahs that give this extremely popular route its nickname: Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, Begin just before the town of Skoura, which is Kalaa Mgouna, the rose city where you cauld purchase rose water and continue to Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa, whose geography and beautiful landscapes have attracted many world class movie producers. Possible visit (if there is no production event) to the movie studio, a well-known cimatographic center used for block buster productions including Astrix and Cleopatra directed by Alain Chabat ,and the Oscar-wining Gladiator directed by Ridley Scott. We will then have a visit to the Taourirt Kasbah of the famous Pasha Glaoui. Overnight stay will be at the riad in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast ,we will depart early for Marrakesh. Today we will visit the famous Ait ben Haddou Kasbah, one of the most intriguing red earth castles lining the ancient Route of the Kasbahs, our trip will continue through the dramatic landscape of the High Atlas Mountains passing throught the Berber town of Taddart, and over than 2,260 meter high Tizi-in-tichka pass, where we will stop for lunch: local tagine, or barbecue before we continue to Marrakesh where you will be accommodated overnight at the hotel or at the riad.
Marrakesh, it is second oldest imperial city, known as the pearl of the south. After breakfast start ,Visit of historical Marrakech, the Menara garden,the Saadian tombs,the Bahia Palace,the Koutoubia Minaret and the Majorelle Gardens named after the famous French painter,who constructed here his art deco villa and started the botanical gardens, in 1980 it became the residence of Yves Saint Laurent. Afternoon, visit the famous Djemaa El Fna square with its surrounding souks and handicraft quarters.In the evening check into the hotel or Riad.
After breakfast, we will depart for the Romantic seaside town of Essaouira ,a charming, centuries–oldporttown on the Alantic coast known for beaches, modern art, traditional crafts ans a unique blend of architectural styles. Essaouira is a typical Portuguese harbor portraying influences of both Moorish and Portuguese design.(optional : 1 hour boat tour). Overnight at the hotel or at riad in Essaouira.
After breakfast, departure back to Casablanca via the picturesque coastal road, stopping in Oualidia for a fish lunch in a a local restaurant with seaview. Continue to El jadida, sightseeing in the town includes the famous citadel, built under the Portuguese occupation in the 16th century. Final night accommodation will be in Casablanca at the hotel.
After breakfast , transfer to Casablanca Mohammed V International airport for your return flight. End of our services.
